Openet Inks Global Reseller Agreement with Cisco
agosto 1, 2011 - Openet
Openet announced today that it has deepened its relationship with Cisco Systems by signing a global reseller agreement that covers Openet's entire product suite. Under the terms of the agreement, Cisco will sell, deploy, and support solutions built upon Openet’s software products globally, placing Openet’s 3GPP compliant products within a suite of Policy and Charging Control (PCC) solutions. These solutions include Cisco’s LTE, fixed-mobile convergence, M2M, video, and cloud initiatives.
The agreement was driven by recent joint deployments with operators in Ireland, Japan, Austria, and the Netherlands.
Mike Manzo, CMO, Openet, connected with Pipeline to comment on the news. “One of Openet’s core tenants is constant innovation to help transform the network. Our relationship with Cisco has been a tremendous help in achieving that high standard for the past seven years, but this renewed extension is a real milestone. Openet’s software is set to be a part of key Cisco offerings in the space moving forward, and the combined power of both companies will allow us to quickly and comprehensively address operator needs more than either company could have accomplished previously.”
