Openet, a leading innovator of Subscriber Optimization Software, has been named as a top policy management firm in the Infonetics Survey, “Policy Server Deployment Strategies: Global Service Provider Survey.” The survey responders has identified as a top three vendor, based on operators with wireline, wireless, cable and converged networks. Also, Openet has been identified as the second in terms of vendor familiarity.

The Openet Policy Manager's completely compliant with 3GPP Policy and Charging Rules Function (PCRF), which enables operators to mitigate the challenges of high bandwidth consumption in global deployments.
Openet provides Subscriber Optimization Software to tier one group of firms which are part of the communications and media service provider industry. Openet’s offering are designed to attract and retain subscribers. Operators must be complete knowledge of their subscribers in order to deploy effective business models and control the allocation of network resources, Openet’s assists them is this process by minimizing the costs, and maximizing the revenue, thereby making the most of every subscriber. According to the Infonetics research, Openet was ranked high based on vendor familiarity which is a measurement of vendor offerings. Recently Openet had successfully expanded its services in North America and EMEA, as well as a partnership with Cisco (News - Alert), which accounted for 44 percent of the respondents being familiar with Openet. Also, innovative, cutting-edge applications which are combined with Openet’s policy and charging capabilities made it a popular brand. Bandwidth Policy controls in the future will become more granular and personalized in order to meet the operator needs for subscriber transparency and network control.
 
In a press release, Directing Analyst of next gen OSS and policy at Infonetics Research, Shira Levine, said, "Operators are increasingly interested in software-based policy control solutions that can support multiple network and service types.
