Openet Selects VoltDB to Expand Deployment Options within Virtual Environments

DUBLIN, Ireland – April 2, 2014 – Openet, a global leader of real-time transaction management software and services, today announced that it has entered into an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) agreement with VoltDB, the world’s fastest high-velocity database.
As the telecom industry evolves to meet the ever-increasing demand for data, operators are increasingly expanding their investment in virtual environments, including within their Network Function Virtualization (NFV) initiatives. VoltDB expands Openet’s deployment options within such environments.
VoltDB’s in-memory database technology is ideally suited to address operators’ real-time, elastically scalable processing requirements, such as peak load management, within virtualized environments.
